What a fantastic Labour weekend, the weather was perfect for golf and enjoying a bite to eat at Fairways.

 

We are starting to get forward bookings from visitors, so please do make everyone feel welcome and help them enjoy their visit to Bridge Pa.

The summer twilight season is underway and as mentioned a few changes have been made to freshen up the competition.  It would be great to see member participation in this series as it is sponsored by Waipawa Butchery.

 

Unfortunately, if the low numbers continue, twilight golf will be seriously assessed and a decision made if to continue in the New Year. 

If you require the assistance from the pro shop to book your group tee times, please be aware they are happy to do so however, this will only be done one week in advance.

We hope you understand that all times need to be made available for all members so any future bookings more than one week may jeopardise this if members do not use them.

The subscription invoices issued on 1 October are due for payment on or before 31 October 2018.  Thank you to the members that have already settled these, your prompt payment is appreciated.

 

The office will be open this coming Saturday, 27 October 2018 from 9:00am-12:00pm for the weekend players that wish to call in and pay in person.

 

Once subscriptions have been paid new membership cards can be collected from the Pro Shop, please check the box when you print your next scorecard out. 

Nominations for 2018/19 election close this coming Friday, 26th October 2018 at 4:00pm.

 

The nomination forms are on the noticeboard in the foyer of the Clubhouse, for the Management and Golf Committees.

 

Please ensure all completed forms are given to the General Manager, in the office, prior to 4:00pm on Friday. 

 

Also, please note as per club constitution only those members whose current subscription is fully paid shall be eligible to be nominated for any office or committee position. 

The Bayswater European Shootout is coming on Sunday 4th November.

 

A dinner will be held in the clubhouse on Saturday 3rd November and ALL members are invited to join the participants over dinner and an auction starting at 6:30pm.

 

This should be a great night with your fellow members and a chance to enjoy a meal from Kieran and our team.  There will be a lamb or chicken dish on offer - you choose for $38 per head.

 

This is a great way to say thank you to Bayswater European who are a great sponsor of the event and we encourage all who have qualified - both men and women - to attend.  Spouses are also very welcome.
