Happy New Year.  We trust you had an enjoyable Christmas period and got lots of golf in.  The course was busy with visitors throughout the holiday period and we had several comments of members welcoming visitors to Bridge Pa, thanks!

 

Great to see so many of our International members here again, special mention of Bengt and Kristina who are visiting for their 17th year! 

The Hastings Open is coming up at the end of the month and entries are still open.

For those not participating in the Open we confirm Napier Golf Club have again offered complimentary golf during the weekend of 25/26 January 2020.  We thank them for the reciprocation between the Hastings Open and Kapi Tareha.

Men's Pennants

All those players wanting to be part of the Hastings Golf Club men's pennants teams in 2020, it would be great if you could put your name on the list on the men's noticeboard.  We will be requiring players for three Champ Division (off the stick) and two Handicap Division teams.  Also, if you would like to help and manage a team please indicate on the list.

 

Women's Crossman Cup

A signup list is now on the women's notice board for any members wishing to represent the club in the Crossman Cup competition.  A list of competition dates is also displayed.

 

New Handicap System

NZ Golf will be communicating with us more information in regards to the changes happening with the handicap system in the near future but for now have a read here to learn about the upcoming changes in March.   

 

 

After the success of our 2019 predator free campaign we head into 2020 with a redraw of all trap allocations.  Whilst 'kills' are minimal, which is a good thing, we will continue to record and report monthly activity.
