The postponed AGM of the district association is to be held at The Napier Golf Club on Thursday 30th July at 7:30pm.  The agenda, men and women's president reports and annual report will be published in due course.

 

Nominations are open for the following positions on the board due to vacancies/retirements, these are:

Unfortunately we are still receiving complaints about butts around the course in bunkers and on fairways.  A reminder of the On Course Smoking Policy can be found here.

 

Members who smoke are asked to help keep our course free of litter and carry a suitable container for their rubbish.

It's this time of year, when there is less daylight around that pace of play is highlighted more than usual.  With the course playing longer in winter there are some things that can be done to ensure the day is a bit smoother.   With no one able to travel abroad we are seeing a large amount of members playing golf which is great however these tips can ensure as many golfers can complete their rounds as possible:

Now in it's fifth year the Four Course Classic is due to come to Hawke's Bay again early November.  The courses included this year are Cape Kidnappers, Hastings, Maraenui and Napier as well as food & wine matching at the beginning and end of the week, sponsored by Trinity Hill.
