2025-26 Membership Subscriptions

Further to the president update last week regarding subscriptions for the upcoming year, please see below a table of the annual fees including levies and GST.

Members that are on direct debit will receive communications shortly to alter your payments as necessary.  If you wish to initiate a payment plan, please email Meg on admin@hastingsgolfclub.co.nz

As per the Club’s constitution instalments will be split as equally as possible over the two instalment dates: 1 October 2025 and 1 April 2026.

2025-26 Trinity Hill Summer League

Daylight savings is fast approaching and it's time to start looking at getting your summer league team together.  First in first served!

The season will commence on Wednesday 22nd October 2026.

September Junior Results

New Zealand Age Group Championships – 27-29^th August 2025 Boulcott’s Farm Heritage Golf Club

A huge well done to George Pogson, who competed in the NZ age group championships in Wellington. Playing in the under 16 division shooting 72, 80, 72 George played solid consistent golf. He made the cut after round 2 in 9th position and finished the tournament 7th.  Conditions on day 2 and 3 were tough with strong winds and rain.   It was another impressive performance from our Hastings Junior.   At 13 years old, George has another two years competing in this division!

Zespri AIMS Games Golf 2025

The AIMS Games is an annual international sporting event held in Tauranga for students aged 11 to 13.  This year, the golf competition was held from 2–4 September.   The 18-hole rounds were hosted across Te Puke, Tauranga, and Mount Maunganui Golf Clubs, while the 9-hole competition took place at Otumoetai and Summerhill Estate. The event attracted a strong field, with 90 players competing in the 18-hole division and 72 in the 9-hole.

Congratulations to the 18 holers - Jack Bernie (Lindisfarne), Louie Williams (Havelock North Intermediate), Archer Kinnear (Hereworth), 9 Holes – Maisie Taylor (Iona).  (Luke Jarvis not able to compete due to illness).

Notable finishes:   Jack Bernie – 10^th Equal and Louie Williams – 13^th

Takapau 18 Hole Open Tournament – 30 August

Congratulations to Niamh McGillicuddy for taking out 1^st place in the Women’s Gross.  Keep up the good work.

We are excited to advise members that the 30th Anniversary of the Targa Rally will be concluding at Hastings Golf Club.  This is a unique and great opportunity for our club to host and be part of such an iconic event.

As part of the festivities, we invite you to join in the spirit of the rally and participate in the Targa Golf Day, Sunday 19 October 2025.

Details of the Day

• Shotgun start 8:30am
• Theme: motor racing - dress the part and get into the spirit!
• Format: Teams of Four (register via Golf Genius)
• Complimentary Entry: Thanks to the Ultimate Rally Group, this tournament is free for members.
• Other Inclusions: Along with your entry, a Taste of Targa lunch in the clubhouse, and a prize table for those who make the podium.  (Beverages are members' own cost).

Please note: Due to the nature of the rally and the driveway being used as the final stretch to the chequered flag, the course and property must be closed from 3:00pm onwards on this Sunday afternoon.
