Important Update – Introducing Online Voting with ElectionBuddy

As part of our ongoing efforts to modernise and align with the requirements of the new Club Constitution, we are pleased to announce that future member voting will now take place online. This will be managed securely through ElectionBuddy, a trusted and widely used online voting platform for clubs and associations.

Why ElectionBuddy?

ElectionBuddy ensures that every member’s vote is:

• Secure – Votes are anonymous and cannot be altered or viewed by anyone else.
• Convenient – You can vote from any device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) in just a few clicks.
• Accurate – The system automatically tallies results, ensuring a transparent and error-free count.
• Accessible – Members will receive a unique voting link via email, eliminating the need for in-person ballots.

What You Need to Do

To take part in online voting, each member must have their own individual email address.  The email address used will be what each member has registered in DotGolf.

• If you and another member share an email address, you will not be able to both vote using the same account.
• If this applies to you, please either:
  1. Create a new personal email address (e.g., Gmail, Outlook), or
  2. Contact the Club office urgently to register for a paper voting slip.

We want to ensure that every member eligible has the opportunity to vote, so please act now if you need to make any updates.

Next Steps

As voting opens in the next few weeks, you’ll receive an official email from ElectionBuddy with your personal voting link and detailed instructions. Please keep an eye on your inbox and check your spam or junk folder just in case.
