Annual General Meeting
The AGM of Hastings Golf Club Incorporated will be held Tuesday 9 December 2025 in the clubhouse, commencing at 7:30pm.
Management Committee Election
Eligible members will shortly receive an email from ElectionBuddy. For the 2025/26 year there are three (3) nominations for one (1) vacancy.
This is your opportunity to have your say. Before voting, please read each candidate’s profile carefully and consider their suitability for the future governance of our club.
What to consider when you vote
Our Mission and Values are the foundations of Hastings Golf Club. The Management Committee is a volunteer group acting on behalf of all members to guide the club’s direction. Effective committee members typically demonstrate:
- Governance mindset – understands the difference between governance and management, can contribute at a strategic level, and upholds collective decision-making.
- Policy & strategic thinking – helps set policy, risk frameworks, and medium- to long-term strategy for the club.
- Financial literacy – can read financial statements and contribute to budgeting, investment, and sustainability discussions.
- Operational insight – offers practical guidance without micromanaging staff.
- Communication & stakeholder skills – listens well, communicates constructively, and represents the whole membership.
- Culture & conduct – role-models our values and Code of Conduct, fosters a respectful, inclusive committee culture.
Over the past year we have strengthened our governance framework, including new Code of Conduct and Delegations of Authority documents for the Committee and staff.
The Committee is supported by Michelle Campbell our General Manager, alongside our team of staff and contractors who manage day-to-day operations and report regularly to the Committee.
How voting works
- Look out for the ElectionBuddy email with your secure voting link and instructions.
- Members registered for a paper voting slip will be contacted individually to arrange casting your vote in the ballot box.
- Voting closes Tuesday, 9 December 2025 at 1:00pm.
