We’re excited to share some important news — Hastings District Council has now confirmed the hearing dates for Private Plan Change 7 (PPC7).
This is a major milestone for Hastings Golf Club and represents a big step forward in the process that will help shape a strong, sustainable future for our Club.
Hearing Dates Confirmed
The hearing will be held on:
Monday 20 April 2026
Tuesday 21 April 2026
Friday 24 April 2026
The hearing will take place at the Hastings District Council Chambers, and members of the public are welcome to attend.
The expected hearing hours are 9.00am to 4.00pm each day (these times will be confirmed closer to the date).
Hearing Panel
The hearing panel remains unchanged following the recent local body elections. The Commissioners are:
- Kitt Littlejohn (Chairperson)
- George Lyons
- Bill Wasley
- Heather Te Au-Skipworth
A Big Step Forward
While recent changes to the Resource Management Act (RMA) have been helpful, this will still be a challenging process, and our representatives will have an important job ahead of them.
That said, it is extremely positive to now have confirmed dates — and we are hopeful this hearing will move us closer to a successful outcome for the Club.
