Ryman Healthcare – James Wattie Retirement Village Women’s Shootout
Following feedback from our women members, we are pleased to confirm that the Women’s Shootout will return in 2026, proudly sponsored by Ryman Healthcare – James Wattie Retirement Village.
To run both the 9-hole and 18-hole competitions, we require a minimum of 15 players in each division, so we encourage everyone to support this event.
Key Details
- Entry Period: Enter during the month of March (between 3 March – 31 March)
- Entry Fee: $30, payable in the Pro Shop
Automatic Entry Days
- 18-hole members: Tuesdays and Saturdays
- 9-hole members: Wednesdays and Saturdays
Competition Dates
- The Shootout will run from 1 April through to Wednesday 18 November.
Final
- The top 10 qualifiers will progress to the Shootout Final.
- Separate 9-hole and 18-hole competitions will be played, with the finals contested over 9 holes.
- Final Day: Sunday 29 November 2026

Reminder – Women’s Golf at Karamu During Coring Week
While our course is closed for coring from 16–20 March, we have organised a visit to Karamu Golf Club and all women members are welcome.
18 Holes: Tuesday 17 March, 9:30am – $22
9 Holes: Wednesday 18 March, 9:30am – $18
Members are welcome to stay for lunch afterwards. A conference room has been arranged so we can sit together.
Optional: bring a $10 wrapped bottle (in a brown paper bag) if you would like to join a lucky dip bottle exchange.
