Congratulations to Emma Cadenhead and Sue Colson who both scored a hole in one in the past couple of weeks.

 

Emma scored hers on the 13th hole at Hawke's Bay Golf Club and Sue on our 8th hole.  Good golfing ladies. 

Congratulations are also in order for our 'greenie' Jeff Tuoro on winning the Waipawa Open recently.  A match play event made this Jeff's first win in seven years.

You may have seen the recent announcement that NZ Golf have partnered with WineFriend and we're excited to announce WineFriend is bringing it's 'Wildcard Wine Excursion' to our club.  

 

Come and join their Chief Tasting Officer and all-round wine guru Yvonne Lorkin for an introduction to lesser-known but jaw-dropping gorgeous varietals.  You'll sample four delicious drops and be treated to Yvonne's tips and tricks to get the best from your wine.

 

When: Tuesday 10th September, 6:00pm 

Where:  Clubhouse lounge

Cost:  $30 pp includes wine tastings with matching food offering created by our F&B Manager, Kieran Genge

A reminder to all, please do not leave any valuables in your car visible to passersby.  We had an attempted break in to one of the staff cars parked adjacent to the the 4th tee on Sunday.  A little too close to home!
