Clubhouse Contact Tracing
Allow images
The government rules for all organisations collecting visitor information for contact tracing is likely to continue for some time.  Thanks to you all for embracing our app to easily collect this information.

The clubhouse app MyVisitorLog has been working well overall with a few glitches for those on android phones.  The simplest way around this is to enable your built-in QR reader or just go straight to the website here.

if you have any problems please speak to one of the team who will be able to assist.

Other COVID points
We continue with the following Level 2 rules:
  • Table service is still in place.  Please wait at the top of the stairs to be seated by one of the team.
  • Log-in to contact tracing app.
  • Our preferred method of payment continues to be cashless by using your House Account or PayWave.  Remember you will get a 10% member benefit by using your member card.  We will however, begin to accept cash now. Please use the hand sanitiser provided after your transaction is complete.
  • There is a designated waiting area for takeaway orders.  You can also call in advance to have this ready for your arrival.  Ph 879 7206 ext 4
  • Please maintain social distancing of at least 1m from all patrons, other than your immediate playing group, always.

Subscriptions
Subscriptions are coming in steadily, thank you for paying promptly.  A reminder these are due by the end of May.

Again, preferred method is contactless payment but the office will now also begin to accept cash.  Hand sanitiser is also available in the office.  You can pay in the pro shop on weekends via eftpos.

Cheques are slowly being removed and we have been told by the bank that processing times are already taking longer.  We do prefer not to receive these anymore.

If you need to organise a payment plan for your subscriptions please get in touch with Fleur on admin@hastingsgolfclub.co.nz

Frost Delays
Allow images
With the start of winter frosts impacting golf it is timely to remind members of the club's frost policy.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Early times are lost

Tuesday
Women's Day - ladies have priority even when delayed by frost

Thursday
Players that fail to make the turn by 11:30am must give way to the afternoon field

Saturday
Early times that are lost due to frost miss out.  If frost cancels all play, including the business women's tee times, the business women will have priority on the course when it re-opens with a last tee time of 9:45am.  This could mean a slight delay to the afternoon field but should allow the majority of the afternoon field to complete play.

Please note all 9H members will be moved to the back of the amended tee times to allow 18H members to get through the turn on any day.

The pro shop will do their very best to ensure as many people as possible can get on the tee.

Frost Delay notifications will be sent via the DotGolf App, please ensure you have this downloaded and notifications are turned on.  Messages will be sent only to those names on the start sheet of the day advising of any updates which will ensure those not impacted don't receive any unwanted messages. It is important that the correct members are booked into tee times rather than just putting down any name on the start sheet.

Gym In Session
We are pleased to advise we now have two personal trainers utilising the gym room and available for strength and balance classes between 6:00am - 12:00pm daily.

Please see poster here and get in touch with Rob or Ethan.
