The trapping programme is still producing good results, although kills in the winter months tend to be fewer in number than warmer times.  Overall numbers are about the same as last year.

Young quail have been seen on the course which is a positive sign for the trapping programme, and the team replenishing the bird feeders around the course tell us they're proving very popular!  "Leaderboard" as follows:

 

 

The Club is planning a fundraising for Dylan Bagley, a junior member of nine years who is leaving in early August to take up a golf education scholarship at the Missouri Southern State University, USA.

 

Dylan is a talented golfer and we are delighted for him and his family that he has this amazing opportunity.

 

A stableford competition will run from Thursday 22 July through to Saturday 24 July.  The best stableford score from the three days will secure the winner a new golf bag kindly donated by Brett, SpecialTee Golf.  There will also be two raffles running and tickets available from the Pro Shop from next week.

 

We look forward to you joining us in supporting Dylan on his journey. 

Due to the current staffing shortage we advise that the Clubhouse - cafe & bar will be closed this coming Monday 19 July.  There will be limited food & beverage available from the pro shop on this day.  At this stage closures are being assessed week by week and members will be notified via Membership Matters and the club's Facebook page. 

 

If any member knows of any persons in hospitality looking for a change please get in touch with Michelle Campbell.  There are two positions to be filled, both part-time; chef and barista/all-rounder. 

 

We are also taking this opportunity to get some electrical switchboard maintenance undertaken on this day too.  This will mean the facilities (clubhouse/proshop) will have limited power during the day.  The majority of the work can be isolated to upstairs where most of the work will occur, however the Pro Shop and Office will be closing approx. 3pm on Monday for the electricians to complete the final stage of the maintenance.

With the frosty starts there is some black ice occurring in the car park area until the sun warms enough to melt this.  

 

Please be careful when walking through the carpark and into the pro shop.

 

Some signage is on it's way and the pro shop will put out on these mornings so members are aware.
