Predator Free Campaign Update

It's been a "slow but steady" first half of the year, with 109 vermin caught, the marjority of which (47) being rats.  The removel of pine trees alongside the 2nd and 17th holes created a change in habitat which resulted in a number of traps being shifted to more likely spots (under or near bushes).  

We are now in our forth year of the programme and total kills todate stands at 566 - of which 255 are rats and 17 mustelids (stoats, weasels, ferrets) - these two groups being the most harmful to birdlife.  

Thanks to trap sponsors and the small team of "trappers" and bird feeders.

Pace Of Play

A further reminder to please keep to times as printed on your scorecard.  Getting ahead of these times will cause just as many issues as playing too slow.  There will be unneccessary conjestion through the turn as well has hold-ups on the Par 3s.

If you reach the turn before the last tee time in the afternoon field has teed off, you must wait before you commence your back-9.

Wood Chip Available This Week

Collections times for wood chip this week are:

Wednesday 17th August - 10am-12pm

Saturday 20th August - 8am-10am

Please head towards the western end of the property and the gate will be opened. Our team will be onsite with a front loader and will load the chip into a ute or trailer.
 

 

 

 

Hole In One

It was a lucky 13th this weekend with TWO hole in one's scored on Saturday 13 August.

Congratulations to Ian Croskery - number 8 and Adam Dunkerley - number 16.

 

Monday Magic

A couple of newsworthy scores coming out of Monday 15 August. 

Josh Dasent, our pro shop assistant had a fantastic 66 on the blue course. 

Lois Campbell, a honorary member, returned a 79 on the yellow course with a Front 9 of all Par.
