Well, this month is a very busy one and we started with the Inaugural Hastings Golf Club Ladies Classic. It was fabulous to see so many players represented from over 18 golf clubs from as far south as Queenstown, north from Auckland and even Australia. This event came about from a meting last year to have our own Women’s Classic following from the Holly Hospice Trail, and I want to thank Nora Priest, Linda Orton and Deb Hewitt for their initiative, input, and support of this event. Also, a big thank you to “Fairways Café & Bar” for providing delicious food over the two days. This tournament would not happen if it were not for our fantastic Sponsors. I thank Jarden Wealth Management, Tremain Real Estate – Tori Morrison, Miranda Smith Home Care and Specialtee Golf. Also thankyou to our prize / raffle sponsors, Caci, McClurg’s Jewellers, Black Barn Vineyards, Rebecca & Richard Riddell for making their holiday home available, Little & Fox Design - Fabrics & Homeware and Delmaine Fine Foods for their donations. We ask you all to support these businesses in the future. Also, thanks to Brett Allan and the pro-shop team for coordinating the event. The golf course was superbly presented, thanks to our Greenkeepers and a big thank you to our Referees.

Pennants Men v Pennants Women – Saturday 26th November
This is a new Event held on Saturday and we have a total of 26 players competing against each other for bragging rights. It will be a great challenge and our ladies are looking forward to this.
Suzelles Shootout Finals Day - Sunday 27th November
Finals day is looming, and the top positions are being hotly contested for the 18- & 9-hole Suzelles sponsored Shootout. Get your cards in to qualify.

Pencil in your diaries for this 2nd challenge for our coveted Trophy. It is a Stableford team competition and a great chance to meet fellow members.
