2024 Men’s Pennants/Coronation Cup/Greenwood Cup
Golf Hawke’s Bay & PBW has announced the fixture dates for the annual inter-club events for 2024.
The Men’s Pennants dates are:
Round 1: Feb 25th
Round 2: Mar 10th
Round 3: Mar 24th
Round 4: Apr 14th
Round 5: Apr 29th
Final: May 12th (Maraenui GC)
The Coronation Cup Zone rounds will be held 6th & 7th April with the finals 25th & 26th May with the venues to be advised.
The Greenwood Cup first weekend is planned for 12th & 13th October (Onga Onga GC) with the final weekend 16th & 17th November (Maraenui GC).
In recent years the Club has entered three teams in the Pennants Championship Division (off the stick) and two in the Pennants Handicap division.
If you are keen to be considered to represent the Club in next year’s Pennants competition, please enter your name on the form attached to the Men’s Notice Board later this week.
We will also be looking for team captains/selectors for each team. Please enter ‘TC’ by your name if you are prepared to act as a team captain/selector.
We believe that availability to play on the designated dates is key to a team’s success so please indicate if you are not available to play on any of the above Pennant round dates.
We will look for representatives for both the Coronation Cup and Greenwood Cup competitions in a similar fashion nearer the fixture dates.
